Plan sponsors have a drug plan sustainability issue!

Prescribed Solutions Inc. understands that the physician is the primary decision maker within the drug prescribing process. With that in mind, Prescribed Solutions developed a novel program engaging and encouraging physicians to prescribe optimally, helping to sustain drug-benefit plans for sponsors and members.

Many medical system jurisdictions throughout the western world (including many private plan sponsors and state plan sponsors in the United States) provide physician educational outreach programs to great success.

The ‘ Prescribe The Solution’ model was tested and proven during a 13-month Maritime intervention project. Over 550 physician contact visits were made and over 530,000 claims were captured and analyzed covering 5 common and chronic therapeutic areas.

After 1 year of physician outreach education and engagement All 5 Therapeutic areas recorded a positive increase (absolute and relative) in Generic Fill Rate ( GFR) (please view our FAQ page for a further explanation of GFR)

Through the key learnings of our pilot programs and numerous industry meetings with consultants, insurance providers, large and small plan members and government groups, we have heard your issues and built something truly unique. We will roll with this program for the very first time in Canada in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
